Trula Ann Hamby, age 68 of Forest City died Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville. She was born August 8, 1950 in McDowell County and was a daughter of the late Nicholas Eugene and Betty Lee Fox Huskey. Trula was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Michael Hamby of the home, two daughters, Katie Toms and husband Mark of Forest City, Amanda Caldwell and husband Mickey of Rutherfordton, a brother, Nicholas Huskey of Honea Path, SC, sister, Pamela Coffey of Conover, NC. There are also four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
