Timothy Murray Obituary

Timothy Wayne Murray, age 60, died Thursday, November 19, 2020 at his home. Tim as he was known, was born September 15, 1960 in Rutherford County and is a son of Lester Wayne Murray of Mooresboro and the late Flayree Hopper Murray. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and sports, especially golf.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his son, Clint Murray and Mollie of Forest City, brother, Mark Murray and wife Lee of Forest City, granddaughter, Calli Murray, his former wife, Diane Taylor of Forest City, step-brothers, Chris Coggins of Mooresboro, and David Coggins of Boiling Springs, NC as well as nieces and nephews.

A service from the graveside will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Jackie Potter officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
