Terri (Nanney) Jolly

Theresa “Terri” Nanney Jolly, 69, of Forest City, NC passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.  Born in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Bill Nanney and Sue Bailey Nanney.  Terri retired from Spindale Elementary School and following retirement she taught ESL classes at Isothermal Community College.  She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Xi Delta Omicron Chapter.  Terri loved being a mom, Mimi to her grandchildren whom she cherished and enjoyed spending time with her sorority sisters.  She especially loved her best friends, Rinda Wilson and Melissa Hoyle.

Survivors include her son, Chris Jolly of Orlando, FL; her daughter, Jennifer Huskey and husband Jeremy of Forest City, NC; sisters, Cathie Keimier and husband Jack of Raleigh, NC, Dara Hooper and husband Allen of Forest City, NC and Lynn Toney and husband Gerald of Ellenboro, NC; grandchildren, Kinsley Huskey, Karsyn Huskey, Konnor Huskey, Lucas Jolly and Kamden Huskey; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 3 pm Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Fox and Rev. Marvin Greene officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 pm on Thursday in the church sanctuary.  Memorial contributions may be made to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Athletics, c/o Susan White, 2527 U S Hwy 221-A, Mooresboro, NC 28114.
