Taylor Michelle Curry, age 28, of Spindale, North Carolina, died Monday, June 26, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.   Taylor was born in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, on June 17, 1995, to Eva Curry Harmon and Tracy Murray.  

Taylor graduated from East Rutherford High School, where she was a member of the cross-country team and homecoming court.   She was baptized at West Point Baptist Church where she was a member.  Taylor was loving person and dedicated to her family.  

Taylor is survived by her son, Lucas Cox of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Her mother, Eva Harmon (Brian) of Spartanburg, South Carolina; her father, Tracy Murray (Ashley) of Ellenboro, North Carolina; brothers Austin Smith and Bruce Bradley of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Chad Murray of Ellenboro, North Carolina; sisters Kylie Murray of Forest City, North Carolina and Caitlin Smith of Rutherfordton, North Carolina; her grandparents Vivian Skipper, Mark and Kathy Tate, Truitt and Dianne Murray all of Ellenboro, and Darlene Harmon of Forest City, North Carolina and great grandmother Joyce Tate of Ellenboro. 

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11 o'clock at Corinth Baptist Church, with Rev. Mike Conner and Reverend Anna Coffey officiating.   The family will receive friends on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 6 until 8 o’clock in the evening at The Padgett & King Mortuary.
