Tammy Constance (Allen) Johnson

Tammy Constance Johnson, age 61 of Forest City, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the home of her daughter.  Tammy was born on August 29, 1960, in Sarasota, Florida and was a daughter of Bobette Balderstone Allen of Forest City and the late Thomas Allen who died in January of 2021.  She worked as the CBO Manager for Physician Practices with Rutherford Regional Medical Center.  She was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. 

Tammy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister and was a genuine and sweet spirited person who could bring smiles and joy to everyone she met.  She loved her family deeply and her family loved her.  She now joins her father, her brother, Timmy and grandmother, Constance in Heaven. 

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, John Michael “Mike” Johnson of the home, her mother, Bobette Balderstone Allen, her son, Tommy Johnson, her daughter, Jolene Johnson (Lamond), her grandson, Gunner Harris, her step grandchildren, Dalvin Head, Sydni Harris, Jalen Harris, her sister, Timberly Allen, niece, Aurora Gregory and a very special friend, Lynn McDowell. 

A service from the graveside will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Bob Philbeck officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 7 o’clock at Padgett and King.  Mask and social distancing will be required for the safety of those attending. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Textile Street in Spindale.
