Tammie Sharon (Cole) Rumfelt

Tammie Sharon Cole Rumfelt, age 59 of Kiser Road, Bostic,, died Saturday, June 20, 2020 at her residence.  Tammie was born in Rutherford County on April 8, 1961 and was a daughter of the late Ernest Marshall “Whitey” Cole and Sylvia Rice Cole.

Tammie was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.  She also enjoyed taking care of her faithful dog, Tiney.  She was a lifelong Baptist and was preceded in death by her niece, Sissy.

Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany Rumfelt Bailey and husband Billy of Rutherfordton, her sons, James Rumfelt and wife Megan of Forest City, and Joshua Rumfelt and wife Katelyn of Bostic, her sister, Debbie Cole Atchley of the Shingle Hollow Community as well as five grandchildren, Jalen Rumfelt, Zane Rumfelt, Zoey Rumfelt, Zeke Rumfelt, and Chloe Rumfelt.  She also has a close and devoted friend, Shela Trotter of Forest City.

A graveside service will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday, June 24, 2020 in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with  Reverend Ernie Cole officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:30 on Wednesday prior to the service at Padgett and King.
