Susan Joan (Condon) Hudgins

Susan Condon Hudgins, age 66 of Forest City, died Monday, October 26, 2020 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.  She was born July 25, 1954 in Patterson, New Jersey and was a daughter of the late John and Anne Wilander Condon.  Susan was a graduate of Mountain Lakes High School in New Jersey and she worked as a Community Service Technician for Universal Mental Health.  She was an animal lover and faithfully fostered many animals in her lifetime. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Macauley.

Survivors include her son, Shawn Baynard of Forest City, her daughters, Linda Diaz and husband Mike of Cedar Grove, NJ, Nicole Burnette and husband Andy, Christy Baynard and fiancée, Jared Robbins all of Forest City, her sister, Patty Beels of Murfreesboro, TN as well as eight grandchildren, Caleb Lail, Clayton Burnette, Mikey Diaz, Keaton Burnette, Cooper Diaz, Jade Jolley, Lawson Jolley and Aaliyah Crawford.

A service from the graveside will be conducted at 11 o’clock Friday, October 30, 2020 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with the Reverend Ron Wilkins officiating.  Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Thursday evening at The Padgett and King Mortuary.
