Sue Cash Jones

Sue Cash Jones, age 80, of Rutherfordton, died Monday, May 10, 2021.  She was born on April 11, 1941 in Concord, North Carolina and was a daughter of the late Joseph Daniel Cash, Jr and Lois Caroline Walker Cash.  Sue was an educator in the North Carolina public schools with 30 years’ service having worked at Tuckaseegee Elementary School.  She was a faithful and dedicated member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church in Spindale. 

Sue leaves behind a world of friends on this earth and her beloved Spindale Friendship Holiness Church.  We ask that you celebrate by dressing in bright clothing, eating gustily, laughing heartily, and know that she is darting about those streets of gold and pummeling God with all her questions.  He probably has a headache already.  Listen to her favorite hymn “Sweet Beulah Land” and know that she is there at last.  She was so looking forward to her heavenly home but will be greatly missed by those she left behind. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at  3:30 Sunday, June 26, 2021 at Fellowship Holiness Church, Deviney Street, Spindale with Reverend Chad Sisk and Reverend Buddy Campbell officiating.  All are welcome to attend.
