Scott Wesley Mack, 58 of Forest City died Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center.  Scott was born in Buncombe County, NC and was a resident of Rutherford County for 19 years, by way of Marion, NC. He was a professional truck driver until he medically retired in 2020 and was an all-around fun guy. Known for his charisma, storytelling, and overall likeability, Scott will be missed in many ways. He is preceded in death by his: beloved grandmother Maude Crowder Solesby;  his mother Linda Solesby Mack; his father Louis Mack and his sister Angie Mack Taylor. Left to cherish memories are his close friends and family: daughter Emily Hensley, stepchildren Emily Israel and Michael Helton, Teresa Brickhouse, The Sprouse family, brothers Aaron and Josh Mack, sister Lorena Mack Rice, and countless nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at The Padgett & King Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service at the mortuary.
