Sara Winn Jolley

Sara Winn Jolley, age 93 died Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Fairhaven Home in Bostic where she was a resident. Sara was born on April 22, 1929, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late W. W. Winn and Edith Green Winn. She was a graduate of Cliffside High School in the Class of 1947 and she worked for Public Service Gas of North Carolina from 1968 until 1991 where she retired as Office Manager.

Sara was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Forest City where she a member of the Love Circle Sunday School Class and the Triple L Club.  She had served on various committees including the Bereavement Committee. Sara remained active in church until her health declined.

Survivors include her son, Rick Jolley and wife Sandy of Forest City, her daughter, Pam Jolley Gilbert of King, North Carolina, her sister, Jane Winn of Charlotte as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 o’clock on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Fairhaven Home in Bostic.  Reverend Garin Hill and Deborah Brill will officiate.
