Sandra Jeanette Ruppe, age 60 of Forest City died Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Hospice House in Forest City.  Sandy, as she was known by her family and friends, was born on June 16, 1965, in Catawba County and is a daughter of John Myron Ruppe, Sr. of Bostic and the late Carolyn Rhymer.

Sandy was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, and she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Carolina University in 1987.  She worked as a Medical Technician for many years at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.  In 2012 she joined her father and brother in their family business, American Water Graphics, Inc., where she worked as a chemist, creating and optimizing ink formulations.

Survivors include her father and step-mother, John Myron Ruppe, Sr. and Ann Carver Ruppe of Bostic, her sister, Becky Luckadoo of Kings Mountain, her brother, John Ruppe of Rutherfordton, her step sisters, Shannon Boggs and Ellen Long both of Mt. Holly, NC, and Karen Jones of Gaffney, and her step-brother, Robert Brown of Pawleys Island, SC.

A private service will be held for the immediate family.
