Sandra Jean “Sandi” Davis, age 69 of Forest City, died Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Hospice House in Forest City.  Sandi was born on September 22, 1955, in Spartanburg County, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late Lawrence Edgar Davis and Helen Hardin Davis. 

She worked as a computer programmer in software development and was a member of First Wesleyan Church.  Sandi loved animals, especially horses.  She was a kind and loving person who always had something good to say about others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Garth Kim Melton who died in 2016.

Survivors include her brother, Chris Davis and wife Tracy of Brandon, Mississippi, a niece, Melody Davis Mitchell and a host of extended family and friends that loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at First Wesleyan Church in Forest City with the Reverend Eric Yelton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
