Rose Padgett Gregory

Rose Padgett Gregory, 92, of Forest City, died Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Forest City.  A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Tanner Padgett and Anna Freeman Padgett.  Rose worked for many years as telephone operator for Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone and later for Bellsouth.  She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she was very active in her Sunday school class.

 Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Granger of Conway, SC and grandchildren, Angel Marie, Malieah Nicole, Kaylee Danielle, Manuel Stewart, and Ana Sadie.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm Sunday, November 29, 2020 in the Floyd’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Chris Fox and Reverend Marvin Green officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P O Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.  The Padgett & King Mortuary & Crematory is serving the Gregory family.  Online condolences at www.padgettking.com.
