Robert Darrell “Rob” Copeland, age 51 of Ellenboro, died Monday, October 21, 2024, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.  Rob was born on September 24, 1973, in Hartsville, South Carolina and was a son of the late Ronald Copeland, Sr., and Theresa Wacker Melton.  He worked as an industrial painter, was a graduate of East Rutherford High School and Isothermal Community College. 

Rob was an avid album collector and lover of music.  He enjoyed fishing, and the outdoors as well as old cars and he was an enthusiastic South Carolina Gamecock fan and supporter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Christian Robert Copeland in 2019.

Survivors include his wife, Amber Jones Copeland of the home, his son, Adler Copeland and daughter Laurel Copeland also of the home, his brothers, Ron Copeland and wife Melanie of Florida, Randy Copeland and Devonne Copeland and wife Krista all of South Carolina, his sister, Tonya Copeland Little of South Carolina, his father-in-law, Norris Jones of Forest City as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Matthew Johnson officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
