Paula Mashburn Board, age 65 of Forest City, died Monday, March 17, 2025, at her home.  Paula was born on February 27, 1960, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Paul Mashburn and Donna Cash Greene.

She was a homemaker and had attended Still Water Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Mashburn.

Survivors include her companion, Jimmy Morrow of the home, her sons, Chad Grant (Julia) of Concord, NC, and Chris Grant of Forest City, her brother, Doug Mashburn of Mooresville, a sister, Lisa Gordon of Rutherfordton, her step-father, Hal Greene of Forest City as well as 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock on Friday, March 21, 2025, at The Padgett and King Chapel with the Reverend Ted Blankinship officiating.  Interment to follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o’clock prior to the service.
