Nathan Andrew Marlowe, age 39 of Bostic died Thursday, July 22, 2021. Nathan was born January 22, 1982, in Rutherford County and he worked for Coker Landscaping. He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School in the Class of 2000 where he excelled in cross country running. He also received a Cross Country scholarship and attended Coker College for one year. Nathan enlisted in the United States Navy, serving two years. He also attended Glenwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Teresa Marlow Coker and Eddie, his sister, Sharon Lynn Martin of Forest City, a niece, Amber Martin Bunn and husband Brandon of Ellenboro, and great-nephew, Jordan Kimbrell of Ellenboro, his step-brother, Jason Coker and wife Crystal of Bostic, step-sister, Emily Coker Padgett and husband Josh of Bostic, as well as nieces, Chloe, Clare, and Cagney Coker, nephews, Garrett, Clayton, and Dawson Padgett and Colton Coker; aunt and uncle, Madge and Kevin Moody, uncles, Sam Marlowe, Johnny Marlowe and Ardie Vess.
The funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Glenwood Baptist Church with Reverend Joe Ervin and Reverend Sam Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating the graveside rites. The family will receive friends in the cemetery following graveside rites where social distancing will be observed.
