Nancy Katherine Ramsey, age 71 of Rutherfordton, died Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Fairhaven Home of Forest City where she was a resident.  Nancy was born on June 17, 1953, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Ralston and Gladys Green Hardin.  She was a lifelong Baptist and was a gifted seamstress working for Doncaster/Tanner Companies where she retired.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Danny Ramsey, her sisters, Doris Isaacs, Patsy Lee, and brother, Larry Thomas Hardin.

Survivors include her sons, John Toney (Vonda Gardner) of Spindale, Travis Toney (Chasity)of Rutherfordton, and Chad Toney of Rutherfordton, her brother, Howard Hardin of Forest City, and sisters, Elizabeth Allred of Caroleen, Bonnie Lee of Forest City, and Peggy Ponder of Bostic.  There are also six grandchildren. 

The funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock on Monday, March 24, 2025, in The Padgett and King Chapel with the Reverend Shane Adkins officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the mortuary.  Interment will be private for the family.
