Nancy Dunn

Nancy Kimsey Dunn, age 68 of Forest City, died Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 7, 1952 in Anderson County, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late James and Hilda Harris Kimsey. 

Nancy was a member of the Village Chapel in Forest City and worked for many years as a cleaning contractor.  Her greatest joy was her family.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Nancy had a selfless devotion to her family and for helping others.  Her hobbies included rose gardening, quilting and sewing. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Kimsey and twin great-grandsons, Michael and Hayden.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Dunn, her sons, Jamie Dunn and wife Kim of Bostic, Jason Dunn and wife Tina of Forest City, her daughter, Tracy Dunn Wyatt and husband Stan of Chesnee, her brothers, James Kimsey of Boiling Springs, SC, Mike Kimsey of Cowpens, SC.  There are also nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o’clock on Friday, October 2, 2020 at The Padgett and King Mortuary.  Interment will be private for the immediate family at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
