Michiko Katsumata Pekarek, age 91 of Forest City died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. She was born September 16, 1927 of Japanese decent in China and was a daughter of the late Kumesaku Katsumata and Fumi Sano Kasumato. Michiko was a talented and gifted woman who attended college and worked for many years in Data Processing. She was a devoted wife of the late Albert Pekarek who died in 2016.
