Martha Walker Griffin, age 91, died Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills

Born November 14, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Champion Walker and Mary Lula Hoy Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hal Griffin, sister, Mary Francis Hardin, and five brothers, AC Walker Jr., Harry Walker, Bill Walker, Bobby Walker, and Donald Walker.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Kerr and husband Andre, her son Daniel Griffin, brother Jerry Walker, sister Joyce Matheny, grandchildren Ronald James Griffin, Danielle Griffin, Leslie Kerr Cagle and great-grandchild Carson Cagle.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at the Padgett & King Chapel with Reverend Bob Philbeck officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
