Margaret Stewart Woodall, age 92 of Forest City, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025.  Margaret was born on June 25, 1932, to her parents, the late Daniel Stewart and Dora Monds Stewart in Linden, North Carolina.

Margaret, a homemaker, devoted her life to being a Christian wife and mother.  She was dedicated to God and her family.  Margaret was very active in her church as well as community organizations. Her time was spent doing for others, whether it be her husband, children or her church family.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Forest City for 64 years and a member of the Joy Sunday School Class.  She was active in the WMU, and she enjoyed working in the Nursery as well as serving on various committees including the Bereavement Committee preparing meals for church members and their families during their times of sorrow. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Royce Woodall, her sons, Dexter Woodall, and Derrick Woodall, her brothers, Daniel Stewart, Jr., and Bobby Stewart,  her sister, Mary Lou Whittington, and son-in-law, Gene McCullough.  

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Woodall McCullough of Shelby, her grandson, Mason McCullough of Shelby, her sister-in-law, Leena Stewart of Linden, North Carolina as well as her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock on Sunday, January 12, 2025, in The Padgett and King Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Garin Hill officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the mortuary.  Interment will take place on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
