Margaret Fleming Flack, age 93 of Moore, South Carolina died Saturday, September 16, 2023.  Margaret was born on March 31, 1930, in Spartanburg, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Oree Bradley Fleming. 

Margaret attended Inman Elementary School and after moving to Forest City she graduated from Cool Springs High School.  She was also a graduate of National Business College in Shelby.  She worked in insurance as both an agent and secretary for Hardin Insurance Agency and later for Blanton/Flack Agency where she retired. 

Before moving to South Carolina, Margaret was a longtime resident of Brackett Road in Forest City and later moved to Eastwood Village in Bostic.  She was a longtime member of Florence Baptist Church where she enjoyed her church family and was involved in church activities until her health declined. For three years, she was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Ray Flack and her brother, B.C. Fleming, Jr., and son-in-law, Rickey Lee McMellion.

Survivors include her son, William Douglas Flack and wife Judy, her daughter, Sheila Flack McMellion.  She is also survived by her grandson, Geary Cobb and wife Christina, her great grandsons, Jacob McCurry and Ralph Cobb. and her great granddaughter Ivy Cobb.

A Service to Celebrate her life will be held at 11 o'clock on Saturday, October 21, 2023 in The Padgett and King Chapel with the Reverend Daniel Selman officiating.  Interment is private at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends following the service at the mortuary.
