Louis George Batayte Jr., age 77 of Forest City, North Carolina died Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City. Louis was born on October 27, 1945, in Granby, Connecticut and was the son of the late Louis George Batayte Sr. and Alta Batayte. He was a graduate of the University of Connecticut in Storrs and worked for the United States Navy for 35 years as a Target Vulnerability Expert in the Navy Service Warfare Center located in Dahlgren, Virginia.
He is survived by his wife Iris Deanna Batayte of the home.
