Linda Ann (Burgess) Biggerstaff

Linda Ann Burgess Biggerstaff age 78 of Forest City died Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Fairhaven of Forest City.

Born February 5, 1943, in Rutherford County, North Carolina she was a daughter of the late Grover Burgess and Callie Mai Owensby Burgess. She worked with Stonecutter Mills for 35 years prior to her retirement and was a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Forest City. She enjoyed playing Bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harrill Biggerstaff in 2008, a grandson, Chris Biggerstaff, and a sister, Kay Wishon.

Surviving are her son, Keith Biggerstaff and wife, Sherry of Forest City; three grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Conner, Christina Hill (Matt) and Brittany Conner; five great-grandchildren, Skye Henderson, Emily Hill, Aireanny Conner, Amari Hines and Malia Murray; a brother, Chris Burgess of Asheville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 2022, at 3 o’clock at the First Wesleyan Church with the Reverend Eric Yelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
