Myra Kaye Crook Street, age 68 of Union Mills died Friday, October 24, 2025. Kaye was born on January 3, 1957, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Edward and Shirley Hall Crook. She had worked for Timken Corporation where she retired. She loved collecting and one of her favorites was her collection of Barbie dolls.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Shane Weeks, her husband, Jimmy Davis, her brother, Edward Crook, Jr., and her sister, Kelley Bradley.
Survivors include her sister, Donna Moore of Nebo, NC, her sister-in law, Grace Crook of Wisconsin, as well as 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. 4 nephews and 2 nieces.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the Padgett and King Chapel with the Reverend Paul Lane officiating. Interment will follow at Alexander Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 o’clock prior to the service at the mortuary.
