Kay Harris Morrow, 81, of Forest City, NC, died Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Fairhaven Home, Bostic, NC. Born in Spindale, NC, she was a daughter of the late Agnes Coats Hall and the widow of William Eugene “Bookie” Morrow. Kay was a graduate of R-S Central High School and a Teacher's Assistant for many years with Rutherford County Schools. She later worked for the Rutherford County Solid Waste Department and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Allison Summey and husband Keith of Raleigh, NC; son, Michael Morrow and partner Bill Benton of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Margaret Hope Mills of Raleigh, NC and sister, Susan Harris of Forest City, NC. In addition to her mother and husband, Kay was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dock and Susie Coats.
No formal services will be held.
