June Robbins Obituary

June Miller Robbins, 87, of Forest City, died Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Community Hospice, Jacksonville, FL.  A native of Anderson County, TN, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Miller and Wilmida Foust Miller, and widow of the late James “Jim” Robbins.  June worked in human resources with Stone Container for many years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, Forest City where she was a member of the choir and served in many capacities through committee work.  For many years she visited homebound church members in their homes, nursing facilities and assisted living homes.  June dearly loved music and spending time at the beach.

Survivors include sister, Margrette Spaur of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughters, Laura Wayrich and Sarah Robbins; and great grandchildren.  She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and also great nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Eugene Miller, George Lewis Miller, and Ruth Vaughn.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, March 18th in The Padgett and King Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Garin Hill officiating and Dr. Diane Nelson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 at Padgett and King prior to the service.
