Judith Hamrick Fowler, age 79 of Ellenboro, died Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Judy as she was known, was born on November 13, 1941, in Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late John Austin Hamrick and Maude Newton Hamrick.
Judy was a graduate of Cool Springs High School in the class of 1960 and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Forest City. She served on numerous committees over the years and taught the Pre-School Sunday School class for 23 years and the aerobics instructor for 30 years.
She was the President of Junior’s Mobile Home Sales and Service, Inc.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Junior Fowler of the home, her daughter, Michele Smith and her husband Richard of Forest City, her grandchildren, Judith Harrill and husband Drew of Bostic, David Smith of Forest City and her great-grandchildren, Hudson and McCray Harrill.
A Service from the Graveside will be held at 11 o’clock Friday, October 29, 2021 in the Cool Springs Cemetery with the Reverend Curtis Goforth officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

The family will be at the home of her daughter on Elizabeth Avenue, Forest City, North Carolina.
