Joyce Calvert Weeks, age 83, of Bostic, NC died Monday, January 26, 2026 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Forest City.  Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jennings Calvert and Nellie Mae Culbreth Calvert and widow of the late Donald L.Weeks.  Joyce was a 1961 graduate of Chase High School and attended Bowmar Beauty School which lead her to work as a beautician for many years.  She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Ellenboro and enjoyed attending activities at the Rutherford County Senior Center, Spindale.  Joyce especially enjoyed entertaining and decorating for all occasions and holidays, and also was an avid bridge player.  After retirement, she and her husband enjoyed splitting their time in Boiling Springs, SC and Waynesville, NC.

Survivors include her son, Lee Weeks (Tammy) of Lyman, SC; her daughter, Lynn Youngblood (Dan) of Easley, SC; her grandchildren, Anna Weeks, Dillon Weeks, Noah Weeks, Allie Weeks, Sarah Grace Youngblood, J T Youngblood, Daniel Youngblood, and Lia Ownbey; three great grandchildren and a host of cousins whom she considered her siblings.

Interment will be held privately for the family.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
