Joseph Splawn Obituary

Joseph D. Splawn, age 79 of Forest City died Friday, April 29, 2022, at Willow Ridge Nursing Center in Rutherfordton. Joseph was born July 10, 1942, in Rutherford County and he was retired from Wix Manufacturing in Gastonia. He was a faithful member of the Village Chapel until his health prevented him from attending.

He shared close relationship with the Whitmire family and was included in all their family gatherings which he enjoyed.

A memorial service will be held at 11 o’clock on Saturday, May 14, 2022, in The Padgett and King Chapel. Interment will be in the Harris First Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Padgett and King Mortuary & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
