Joe Martin Bradley, age 77 of Ellenboro died Monday, August 3, 2026, at his home. Joe was born on April 28, 1949, in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Will Briscoe (Red) and Eunice Hardin Bradley.

Joe worked for Community Cash as assistant manager, Charlotte Gold in Matthews, American Greetings, Inc., and retired as a mail carrier from the Spindale Post Office. Joe was a longtime member of Alexander Baptist Church where he served on the Daycare Committee, as Deacon and a Choir Member. Most recently he was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Tommy Bradley and Bill Bradley and his sister, Jackie Sanders.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley Greene Bradley of the home, his brother Jim Bradley (Susan) of Rosenberg, Texas, sisters-in-law Dawn Bradley of Shelby, NC and Pam Bradley of Forest City, NC. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Corinth Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Conner and Reverend Terry White officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 o’clock prior to the service in the sanctuary.

A private burial for the family will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
