Jimmy Bradley

Jimmy Woodrow Bradley, age 90 of Forest City, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.  Jimmy was born on November 9, 1934, in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Minard and Zula Condrey Bradley.

He worked for many years as a supervisor for Burlington Industries and he served 15 years in the North Carolina Army National Guard. He was a member of Florence Baptist Church and home, and family were the most important things in life to him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl, and his brothers, Albert and Charles Bradley.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Linda Brandle Bradley of the home, his son, Jason Suttle and wife Lesley of Forest City, his brother, Carl Ray Bradley of Fairfax, Virginia, as well as two grandchildren, Reese Suttle and Zeke Brandle.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock on Monday, January 6, 2025, in The Padgett and King Chapel with the Reverend Daniel Selman and Reverend Tonya Garrison officiating.  Interment will follow at Golden Valley Church Cemetery, Golden Valley. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 prior to the service at the mortuary.
