Jerry Luther Curtis, Jr

Jerry Luther Curtis, Jr, age 62 of Forest City, died Monday, October 18, 2021, at his home.  Jerry was born on April 14, 1959, in Cleveland County and was a graduate of Crest High School where he played football and excelled in the Drama Club.  He loved NASCAR racing, was an avid Raiders football fan and he loved animals.  He worked for Arvin Meritor as a forklift operator.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Luther Curtis, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Janet Curtis Turner of the home, a son, Adam Curtis of New York, a daughter, Amanda Curtis of Morganton, and three grandchildren, Shawn Curtis, Alonna Curtis, and Dominick Curtis.

A graveside service will be held at 3 o'clock on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Bostic.  The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.  The family request mask and social distancing for safety of everyone.
