Jeanne Gibson Owens

Laura Jeanne Gibson Owens, age 56 of Henrietta died Monday, March 13, 2023, at her home.  Jeanne was born on October 6, 1966, in Union, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late Roy B. Gibson, Jr. and Jeanette Fox Gibson.  She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked in that position until her health declined.  She was a member of Grace Chapel in Forest City.

Her husband, John Alfred Owens preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen Elaine Owens (Steven) of Henrietta, Nicki Owens (Bruce) of Forest City, Kimberly Owens (Quinton) of Spindale, and her sister, Elaine Gibson of Henrietta.  There are also sixteen grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 o’clock on Friday, March 17, 2023, in The Padgett and King Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service in the chapel.
