Jamie Lyn Butler Morrison, age 41 of Forest City died Monday, March 7, 2022. Jamie was born on September 17, 1980, in Rutherford County and worked with her father at Butler’s Landscaping and Maintenance.
She was a member of Florence Baptist Church and a graduate of East Rutherford High School in the Class of 1999. Jamie loved animals, especially her dogs.
Jamie was an expectant mother of five months to her daughter, Lyndsy Mae Sorrells.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Billy Camp Butler and maternal grandparents, Tommy and Hazel Francis.
Survivors include her parents, Steve and Paula Francis Butler of Forest City, her sister, Erin Butler Jenkins and husband Eric of Ellenboro, her grandmother, Sue Butler of Forest City, a niece, Savana Jenkins and nephew, Cole Jenkins, her boyfriend, Tyler Sorrells of Forest City, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins that she loved dearly.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o’clock Friday, March 11, 2022, in The Padgett and King Chapel with Reverend Sam Henderson and Reverend Mike Gettys officiating. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:30 until 2:45 at the mortuary prior to the service.
