Helen Dianne Helton, age 77 of Ellenboro, died Friday, October 18, 2024, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

She was a native of Rutherford County, and a daughter of the late William Luther Helton and Oma Jane Hamrick Helton.  Helen was a homemaker, a graduate of Ellenboro High School. and a member of the former Ellenboro Presbyterian Church.  She was a loving person, and she always enjoyed visits from her friends and sitting under the trees as they talked.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Helton and her brother, Dan Helton.

Survivors include her brother, Claude Helton of Mt. Airy, NC, and her sister, Dorothy Helton, of Ellenboro, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A service from the graveside will be held at 2:30 on Monday, October 21, 2o24 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Neil Murray officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
