Faron Clyde Murray

Faron Clyde Murray, age 63 of Pinehurst Road, Ellenboro, died Monday September 13, 2021, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.  Faron was born April 23, 1958, in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Clyde Marshall Murray and Bonnie Louise Padgett Murray and the step-son of the late Evans Lovelace.

Faron was a commercial truck driver, and he enjoyed every minute behind the wheel driving for Truck Service of Forest City.  He was a member of Vein Mountain Baptist Church in McDowell County and he loved to sing and play golf. 

Survivors include his sons, Matthew Murray and Micah Murray both of Ellenboro, his daughter, Michaela Murray of Ellenboro, his brothers, Doug Murray of Ellenboro, Neil Murray of Bostic and Robbie Murray of Ellenboro.  There are also five grandchildren, Kenley Dawn Murray, Cooper Bryce Moore, Miracle Hope King, Skylar Renee Murray and Colton Lee Murray.

A graveside service will be held at 3 o’clock Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Joshua Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Barry Gouge and Reverend Neil Murray officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 Saturday at Padgett and King.
