Edna Robinson Obituary

Edna Vivian Smith Dyer Robinson, 92, of Bostic, died Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Mission Hospital, Asheville.  Born in Greer, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Arthur Smith and Ethel McCue Smith.  She retired from Aeroquip after many years service and was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Bostic.  Edna worked alongside her husband, Roger, for many years at South Mountain Christian Camp.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of thirty eight years, A. W. (Bill) Dyer and her second husband of twenty six years, Roger S. Robinson, Sr,  four sisters and three brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jean and Judy Robinson of Bostic, NC, two granddaughters, Cindy Berryhill (Farron) of Bostic, NC and Joy Phillips (Gary) of Harris; a great grandson, Dillon Berryhill (Taylor)of Bostic, NC and a great great granddaughter, Vivian Grace Berryhill.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in the Padgett & King Chapel with Rev. Paul White, Jr, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 until 2:45 pm at the mortuary.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Mountain Christian Camp, 1129 S. Mountain Rd, Bostic, NC 28018.  

The wearing of masks and social distancing is requested during the receiving of friends and funeral service.
