Edith Conner Robbins Obituary

Edith Conner Robbins, age 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 8, 2026, at Fairhaven Home of Forest City where she was a resident.  She was a native of Rutherford County and a daughter of the late Willie and Pearl Conner.  She was a retired employee of Stonecutter Mills Corporation with 25 years’ service and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. 


She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Hutchins, her second husband, John Marlowe and her third husband, Jimmy E. Robbins, as well as her brothers, Albert Conner, Wade Conner and Donald Conner.


Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Nelson, Patsy Owens, and Nancy Cox and husband Jeff, her sister, Violet Conner of Rutherfordton.  There are also 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.


Although we will miss her here on earth, we know a glad reunion day is coming and we will see her again.  1 Thessalonians 4:13-18


The family wishes to offer a special thanks to the staff of Brookdale Forest City Fairhaven home of forest city and Hospice of Forest city for the love and care they provided our mother 


A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held at 1 PM on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Fairhaven of Forest City where we will be gathering to share our favorite memories, our stories, to laugh, to cry and remember a wonderful lady who is dearly missed. 


A private burial was held a Bostic Cemetery. 


The Padgett and King Mortuary & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
