Edith Ann Reed, age 73 of Forest City died Wednesday, June 4, 2025. She was born on January 27, 1952, in Warrensburg, New York and was a daughter of the late Ernest Reed and Frances Bills Reed. Edith was active in church as long as her health allowed and she was a homemaker. Edith was a resident of Sunnyside Retirement Home where she had many friends, including the staff that she loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ernest Reed, Jr., and Arnold Sprague, and her sisters, Myrtle Reed Greenholtz and Frances Moffitt.
She is survived by her brother, Bud Reed and wife Wanda of Warrensburg, New York, her nieces and nephews, Todd Reed, April Payne, Kimberly Timberlake, Pam Reed, Stephen Greenholtz, and Dawn Greenholtz Hemmelgarn. There are also several great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Services are private for the family.
