Namond Earl McComas, age 88 of Forest City, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 2023 at his home. He was born on August 3, 1935, in Accoville, West Virginia and was a son of the late Carl and Geneva Davis McComas. Earl served four years in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Luckadoo McComas, two children, Tammy Hill and Paul William McComas, brother and sisters, Carl McComas, Jr., Shelba Jean (Sis) Davis, Gilmer O’Dell McComas, Ceva Sue Baker, Richard McComas, Judy Mills, Argy Lee McComas, and Rose Helen McComas.
Survivors include two brothers, Harold (Sandy) McComas of Branchland, West Virginia, Darrell McComas of Florida. He is also survived by his children, Edward (Marie) McComas of Belleville, West Virginia, Greg McComas of Branchland, West Virginia, Danny McComas of North Carolina and Mark McComas of South Carolina as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren.
The family will hold a private graveside service with military honors in North Carolina.
