Dorothy “Dottie” McCann Wegman, 84, of Bostic, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.  A native of New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late John Frank McCann, Sr and Dorothy B. Ertle McCann and widow of the late Jack Henry Wegman.  She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, and a homemaker.  Dottie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Daniel Boone Wegman (Mary Beth) of Bostic, and Jack Wegman (Patricia) of Union Beach, NJ; a brother, Peter McCann of Ellenboro; sisters, Elizabeth Kotowski and Violet Dosantos; eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, Daniel, a special Marine in her life and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 6:30pm Saturday, August 31st in the Padgett & King chapel with Rev. Chris Glawson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5pm to 6:30pm Saturday at the mortuary.
