Donna Jones McGinnis, age 67 of Forest City died Friday, July 7, 2023, at Fairhaven Home of Forest City.  Donna was born on January 8, 1956, to her parents, the late Claude Hicks Jones and Sue Putnam Jones.  She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County. 

Donna attended Pleasant View Church in Forest City and she worked as a Bus Driver/Monitor for Rutherford County Schools until her retirement. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-grandson, Dylan McMahan.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, David McGinnis of the home, her son, Kyle Radford and wife Kellie of Forest City, her step-daughter, Shea McMahan of Bostic, her sister, Trena Jones Roper and husband Don of Columbia, South Carolina as well as three grandchildren, Alex McMahan, Sydney Radford and Maddox Radford.

The funeral service will be held at 3 o’clock on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Pleasant View Church with the Reverend Phillip Duncan officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 Tuesday at the church.  Interment will be private for the family at Glenwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
