Don Sisk Obituary

David Reid “Don” Sisk, Sr, age 81 of Rutherfordton, died Friday, May 7, 2021 at Mission Hospital in Asheville. Don as he was known was born on December 6, 1939 in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Herman and Ann Johnson Sisk. He served in the United States Army and was retired from the Rutherford County Solid Waste Department.

He was preceded in death by a son, Keith Sisk.

Survivors include his son, David Sisk and wife Jennie of Rutherfordton, his longtime companion, Pat Stamper, as well as his granddaughters, Devin Sisk Hovis and Kimberly Sisk and great-grandchild, Bentley Keith Henderson.

A private service of committal will be held in the Cool Springs Cemetery.
