Dianne Morrow Obituary

Dianne Ray Morrow, age 73 of Rutherfordton, died Wednesday, September 22, 2020 at Huntersville Oaks. Dianne was born February 23, 1947 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Ulysses Ray and Verona Biggerstaff Ray. She was a homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church of Forest City when her health allowed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Nicky Morrow, a brother, Jimmy Ray and a sister, Peggy Lee.

Survivors include her son, Allen Morrow of Asheville, her sisters, Frankie Gosnell of Forest City and Tina Pierce of Landrum, South Carolina, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, her niece by marriage, Kally Dotson and husband Greg and their children, Madison and Morgan Dotson of Rutherfordton with whom she made her home for many years, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is being planned for the spring of 2021 and will be announced.
