Delores Jefferson Scala, age 93 of Forest City died Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Hospice House in Forest City.  She was born on December 25, 1931, in Miami, Florida and was the daughter of the late June and Leila Bell Moore Jefferson. 

Delores was a resident of Texas for many years where she was a member of University Baptist Church in Sugarland, Texas.  She and her husband Anthony moved to Forest City in June of 2020. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker for her family. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Anthony Joseph Scala in 2022 and a son, Edward Scala.

Survivors include her son, Stephen Scala and wife Amelia of Forest City, her daughter, Susan Hatton of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and her four grandchildren, Savannah Scala, Stephen Scala, Jr., Eddie Scala, Jr., and Lacy Hatton.

A private burial will held in the Cool Springs Cemetery.
