Dawson Reed Ellenburg

Dawson Reed Ellenburg, infant son of Brandon and Kara Cole Ellenburg of Union Mills, NC, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Aubree Ellenburg of the home; maternal grandparents, Dean and Mary Cole of Forest City; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Tammy Ellenburg of Gilkey; uncle, Brandon Cole; uncle and aunt, Aaron and Nikki Ellenburg and six cousins.

Graveside services will be held at four o'clock, Thursday, August 13, 2020 in the Welcome Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Ministries of Florence Baptist Church, 201 S. Broadway St., Forest City, NC 28043 or Welcome Home Baptist Baptist Church, P O Box 1056, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.  The Padgett & King Mortuary & Crematory is serving the Ellenburg family.  An online guest registry is available at www.padgettking.com.
