Crystal Jean Barnett

Crystal Jean Barnett, age 24, of Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, October 15, 2024.  She was born on January 5, 2000, in Rutherford County and was the daughter of Harold Gene Barnett and Robin Spivey Barnett.

Crystal worked as a restaurant manager and was an outgoing young woman that loved her family, friends and animals.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Imogene Spivey and Harold and Pat Barnett.

Surviving are her parents, Harold Gene Barnett and Robin Spivey Barnett of Rutherfordton, her sister, Makalya Barnett Pinfield of Campobello, South Carolina, a niece, Kaylee Barnett, a nephew, Waylon Pinfield, and her adoptive grandmother, Ann Norman of Rutherfordton.

A memorial service will be held at 3 o’clock on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with the Reverend Chad Sisk and Reverend Buddy Campbell officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 o’clock prior to the service at the church.
