Christine Marie Cooper, age 63 of Hickory died Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. She was born on September 5, 1962, in Brooklyn, New York and was a daughter of the late Carl and Christine Johnsen.
She attended Vertical Life Church in Newton, North Carolina and she loved to cook and serve others.
Her husband, Richard Lawrence Cooper preceded her in death in 2020.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at The Padgett and King Chapel with Reverend Jonathan Foster officiating. Interment will be with her husband at the Western North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. No formal visitation is planned.
