Charles Robert Davis

Charles Robert (Chuck) Davis, age 66 of Ellenboro died Friday, December 26, 2025.  Chuck, as he was known to family and friends, was born on August 3, 1959, in Cleveland County and was a son of the late Leslie Leburn Davis and Martha Bridges Davis. 

He worked as a carpenter and craftsman in bridge construction and was a member of Race Path Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debby Davis Haynes in 2007.

Survivors include his daughters, Cassandra Ledbetter (Jason) of Lawndale, Christen Summers (Randall Scott) of Welford, Caitlin Helms (Robert) of Mooresboro, and Chelsea Davis (Sergio) of Shelby, his brother, Mitch Davis (Deborah) of Laurens, SC, as well as 11 grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Race Path Baptist Church with Reverend Randall Cooper officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

The family will receive friends in the Sanctuary from 1 until 2 o’clock prior to the service.
